Small is beautiful: Klein Records is an independent electronic label based in Vienna founded in 1996 by Christian Candid, especially interesting through its diverse styles of releases ranging from ambient hits to groove, trip-hop and electro pop smashers. Well known artists on the label include the Sofa Surfers, Louie Austen, The Bug, and Seelenluft.

i pulled this album out of the 'downtempo' section at Gramophone records in Chicago, thinking this was the most unusual and unexpected record cover ever for an album by the Icelandic band 'mum'. I put it on the record player in the shop to check it out, and it also sounded like the most unusual left-turn for said Icelandic ephemeral-istas.
