Based in Stuttgard and brought into being by Tobi Ettle and Michel Baumann, also known as Soulphiction or Jackmate, Philpot was created to spread their love for deep-house, techno and experimental electronica. Since its existence, Philpot has been home to a manifold of artists, including beat-chameleon DJ Koze or the outstanding Move D.

Jackmate just gets better and better. 'Got A Minute' by his live/collab project Missing Linkx is an organic deep house slammer with catchy vocals and a super-seductive groove. 'Can’t U Get A Grip?!' turns up the funk factor a notch, and 'I Had Too Much To Dream' is pure experimental goodness. Perfect!
