With musical genes running in the family - his father was a major Irish jazz musician and his brother signed to BMG at age 17 - Mike Slott's career as one of the UK's most exciting new producers of stumbling hip hop breaks hardly comes as a surprise. Having founded the Heralds of Change together with Warp wunderkind Hudson Mohawke, Slott has recently left Glasgow for New York City, making waves with remixes for the likes of Flying Lotus and Sweat.X.
