One of the most noteworthy producers to recently emerge from Berlin's sprawling techno scene is Mike Dehnert, DJ, producer and owner of the increasingly well known Fachwerk label. Striking a balance between deep dub-techno elements and the raw energy typical for Berlin's Tresor-style techno, Dehnert's releases for Clone or 6ONE6 have been gratefully received as a breath of fresh air amidst an abundance of soulless and overproduced dance-floor productions.

The Maxi-Single Air Frais EP was reviewed:
Following up on the recent - and excellent - Luke Hess release, Echocord Colour issues one of Mike Dehnert's finest outings yet. The Fachwerk chief and Tresor resident further elaborates on a sound steeped in the rich techno heritage of his homebase, Berlin. Deep, dubby, and heavy on the low end - recommended.
