One of the most noteworthy producers to recently emerge from Berlin's sprawling techno scene is Mike Dehnert, DJ, producer and owner of the increasingly well known Fachwerk label. Striking a balance between deep dub-techno elements and the raw energy typical for Berlin's Tresor-style techno, Dehnert's releases for Clone or 6ONE6 have been gratefully received as a breath of fresh air amidst an abundance of soulless and overproduced dance-floor productions.

In his understated style Mike Dehnert has named his new album simply 'Fachwerk 25', but If you're expecting simply more of the dubby Berlin techno he is famous you might be in for a surprise, as there are even some synth-disco influences to be heard here. Nice and raw album, recommended.
