Mediengruppe Telekommander is the Austrian/German duo of Florian Zwietnig and Gerald Mandl, known for their unique blend of industrial electro with lyrics reduced to slogans often shouted on top. They were signed to Mute for their 2004 album debut 'Die Ganze Kraft Einer Kultur', but left the label after another full-length, 'Naeher Am Menschen', and the Mute's buyout by EMI. Their third album, 'Einer Muss In Führung Gehen', appeared in 2009 through Berlin based indie label Staatsakt.
