Ware label founder Mathias Schaffhäuser has been roaming the techno and house scene since 1994 and has released tracks on Definitive Records (house sub-label of Plus 8), Blaou Sounds, Force Inc., Multicolor and Frisbee Tracks. In 1997 he started the label Ware that released over 70 twelve inches since. Schaffhäuser's motto at the turntables is: Purism sucks and stereotypes are for squares. The quality of the music is what's important, not sheer functionality and a perfect mix. That is: at times his sets can be rather varied from Ware-style music to thumping techno, anything goes.

Mathias Schaffhäuser's excellent live album spawns this EP of select cuts and remixes. Alongside the original live cut from the Ware founder, a stunning reinterpretation by Cologne's wonder-instrumental trio Brandt Brauer Frick appears as well as fine deep reworks from Paulice and Pedramovich. Ace.
