Martina Topley-Bird's otherworldly vocal talents first featured on Tricky's debut single 'Aftermath' in 1993, and arguably contributed much to the breakthrough success of Tricky's first three albums. Topley-Bird continued to lend lent her distinct voice to numerous high-profile projects, including Diplo's 'Florida' album, Leila's 'Blood, Looms & Blooms' and working with Massive Attack. At the same time Topley-Bird started a solo career, finding a distinct style of her own with her most recent album, 'Some Place Simple for legendary UK label Honest Jon's.
