Alongside his partner Mat Steele, Mark Fell founded Sheffield based experimental music group Snd in the late 1990s, releasing a number of influential albums on labels like Mille Plateaux, Raster-Noton, and their own Snd imprint. As a solo artist Mark Fell recorded his debut album, 'Ten Types Of Everywhere', in 2004, exploring the possibilities of polyrhythmic experimental music.

Seven reworks of Fell's Sensate Focus releases which appeared on Editions Mego this year, the first of which '10' reworked an earlier collaboration with Terre Thaemlitz. As ever, Fell's productions have an incredibly hyperreal clarity, surgically knocking microrhythms against spine-tingling frequencies like a maestro.
