The solo-project of Kreidler founding member and To Rococo Rot collaborator Stefan Schneider, Mapstation explores localised concepts of music by 'shuffling topograpies', as Schneider calls it: The production of his very own imaginary and decidedly non-authentic takes on global music styles. Mapstation's recordings have appeared on many of the most highly regarded labels for experimental pop and electronica, including ~scape, Staubgold and Karaoke Kalk.
