Only established fairly recently, Meakusma is fast becoming a cult label for sophisticated techno and electro with contributions by some of the finest artists in the field, from Clatterbox to Terrence Dixon, from Vakula to Move D. The activities of the Brussels-based collective extend far beyond the those of a traditional record label however: Meakusma is also hosting workshops and events and is involved in experimental video production.

NYC's Matteo Ruzzon keeps a low profile but each of his releases appears like its own universe and this one is no different. 'Timesmithing' is a bleary heady elixir seeping up dub, hiphop, fragmenting house, giving the trippiest feeling of entering someone else's dream. Devastatingly weird and wonderful.
