Named after the actress playing Shelly Johnson in David Lynch's TV series Twin Peaks, Madchen Amick is the project of Viennese artists and musicians Jimmy Zurek und Robert Schwarz. Their unique brand of electronica-infused country pop first appeared on their 2010 EP 'Shelly Johnson' on Kinderkreuzzug, which was followed by their album 'Black Lodge' in 2010.
