Machinedrum Machinedrum Machinedrum Music Producer (MP3 Downloads) Artist Civil Music
Brooklyn's Travis Stewart has been recording his explorations of abstract broken beats for the sadly defunct Merck label since the early 2000s under his Machinedrum alias. In recent times he has hooked up with the highly recommendable Lucky Me imprint for the release of his 'Many Faces' album, an eclectic journey through experimental hip-hop, dub-step and granular acid styles. He has further remixed Jimmy Edgar's 'Hot, Raw, Sex single and featured on Ghostly International's recent 'The Nocturnal Suite' compilation.

Machinedrum returns to LuckyMe with an EP that tones down the footwork factor in favour of an entire palette of cut-up r'n'b, deep and funky house flavours, heavy with chords and vocal snippets. Excellent, as everything Travis Stewart touches at the moment.
