Founded by London DJ Damian Lazarus, Crosstown Rebels established itself as one of the hottest new labels in 2006/07 with a policy of crossing styles from minimal techno to dubstep. The bankruptcy of the label's distributor Amato however brought the promising label down with it, but in 2008 Lazarus lived up to his name and restarted the label with consistently excellent output from artists like Jamie Jones, Soul Clap, and Glimpse.

It's been a long time coming, but Eric Estornel's latest has certainly been worth the wait: 'Can't Leave You' is a New-Order-esque disco-pop-house burner and it comes backed by the equally seductive 'Stop Your Hate' and a great Tale Of Us remix. Absolute must for fans of Soul Clap, Art Department and the like.
