Leaving her home-base Cologne in 2004 for German capital Berlin, Mia has become one of the leading figures of the international minimal scene within recent years. Her productions, most prominently her recent album 'Bittersüss', blend a dubby minimalist techno style with atmospheric vocals sung over a subtle melodic base. Together with partner Falko Brocksieper, Mia runs the label Sub Static and its more techno-oriented sub-label Karloff.
