Based in Catania, Italy, Persistencebit was founded by Alessandro Vaccaro in 2003. The mission of the label is to cover the entire spectrum of electronic music, ranging from minimal techno to IDM and to further explore the possibilities of interaction between audio and visual art. Latest endeavours have ranged from deep Detroit techno from the likes of Franco Cangelli to the 'Nocturne' project, where electronica artist composed a soundtrack to pictures by Italian photographer Francesco Brunotti.
