Releasing his visceral and melodic vision of electro and IDM under the names Lusine and Lusine ICL since the late 90s, Jeff McIlwain is one of State's most respected producers in the field of abstract electronic music. Having attended Cal Arts to study 20th century electronic music and sound design for music and film, he has recorded for labels such as !K7, Hymen (home to his Lusine ICL ambient project), Delikatessen and Isophlux before signing to Ghostly International in 2003. His most recent productions include the remix album 'Podgelism' (Ghostly), the 'Language Barrier' ambient album (Hymen) as well as numerous EPs and remixes for artists like Alex Smoke, Alex Under, Apparat and Lawrence.
