With their debut album 'Hello From Planet Earth,' Luna City Express have solidified (or put on wax for you old schoolers) their 10 year musical partnership, and the LP is proof that good things take time...and space. The tracks on 'Hello From Planet Earth' can, for the adventurous listener, be listened to as a soundtrack for a trip through outer space, or as a classy house album paying homage to its Chicago roots whilst fusing with an open and futuristic sound. The duo behind Luna City Express, Norman Weber and Marco Resmann, fittingly first crossed paths at a millenium party and quickly discovered their mutual love for house music. When Norman moved from Jena to Berlin the two began to play as a DJ team and soon thereafter to produce music together. Their first EP's as Luna City Express, 'Fresh' and 'White Russian,' both released on Moon Harbour were very well received and went on to become club hits. Whilst the duo have released music on other labels such as Justified Cause and Enliven Music, they have come to regard Moon Harbour as their home imprint and have helped the label establish a sound. In addition to releasing their debut album on Moon Harbour, Luna City Express assisted the label in mixing the second volume of its well known 'Moon Harbour Inhouse' compilation series.
