Renowned as one of techno's British pioneers, Luke Slater has been at the forefront of electronic music for 20 years now. During the early 1990s he became known as an innovator in both ambient and techno music, his releases under the Planetary Assault Systems moniker for Peacefrog being widely regarded as classics. In recent years Slater has been focused on releasing spacious, booming techno on his own label, Mote-Evolver, as well as on Berlin's Ostgut Ton label.
