At the start of the last decade teenage Loco Dice was a rapper and a hip-hop DJ, playing support slots for Usher, Ice Cube, Jamiroquai, Snoop Dog and R. Kelly. The Tunisian born Loco Dice soon became a very well known figure in his native German Hip Hop scene and as the scene exploded (becoming Germany's biggest mainstream genre) he did what any self respecting underground artist would: He switched to house music. But not any old house music: very sexy and very crowd pleasing. His tribal, sweetly funky, bassline driven and dance floor friendly skills have given him a residency at club DC-10 in Ibiza and at the Tribehouse in Düsseldorf. He regularly tours America, both North and South. His very first single release, 'Phat Dope Shit', became hugely popular, and were followed by the records 'City Lights' and 'Dynamite Love'. Loco's 12" 'Carthago' was released in 2006 on Cocoon Recordings and quickly became a veritable hit which resulted in more releases on labels like M_inus and Cadenza. His remix skills have been a fancy addition to numerous tracks on various labels in last couple of years and another project, the Desolat imprint he runs together with Martin Buttrich, attracts more and more fans.
