Little Dragon was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden by Swedish-Japanese singer Yukimi Nagano and her close high-school friends Erik Bodin, Fredrik Källgren Wallin, and Rashik Aryal. In 2007 the band signed with British label Peacefrog Records, releasing their self-titled debut album the same year. Its colourful brand of electronic pop music was met with wide-spread acclaim, and a sophomore full-length, 'Machine Dreams', followed in 2009.
