Lil Tony is a central figure in Helsinki's club music scene, as a DJ, producer, promoter, and member of the Nu Spirit Helsinki collective. With a background in both house and techno, as well as disco and soul, his productions for labels like Innervisions, Moodmusic, and Running Back capture the analogue intensity of Chicago house delivered with a modern sense of hypnotic arrangements.

Spiralling analogue synths and long, peaking arrangements are Lil Tony's trademark, and 'Anton's Groove' is a prime example of his style. Split in two parts totalling over 17 minutes it's a truly hypnotic journey, while the EP's eponymous 'Nudge' is a more reflective wild pitch affair. Unique and recommended.
