Originally founded by Valerie Trebeljahr as a solo project after the break-up of her previous band L.B. Page in 1998, Lali Puna's line-up was soon expanded to include Notwist guitarist Markus Acher, drummer Christoph Brandner (of the Tied & Tickled Trio) and keyboardist Florian Zimmer. From their acclaimed debut album 'Tridecoder' on, they have been releasing their edgy electronic pop on German label Morr Music.
