Christian Hilscher and Nico Plagemann hail from the German part of the Baltic Sea, where they have started producing music together in the late 90s. Having moved to Hamburg since, the two founded their own net-label No Response in 2003, followed by Musik Gewinnt Freunde in 2006. Their musical variety of minimal techno has indeed won them a lot of friends in recent years, with their 'Tristesse' having been one of 2007's biggest tracks of the genre.

A fine set of remixes for Kollektiv Turmstrasse coming from Of Norway and Aril Brikha: The former put an emphasis on dub techno elements and the track's pop-compatible vocals, while the latter breaks up the groove for a deep and shuffling take. Remarkable.
