One of the UK's true electronic music pioneers, Ipswich native Kirk Degiorgio looks back on an recording career spanning close to two decades and well over 50 releases, ranging from deep techno to futuristic jazz. Degiorgio began his recording career on the seminal B12 label in 1990 with a split EP of his pseudonyms As One and Future/Past, which remain his best known aliases to this day. Subsequent releases appeared through some of the most influential labels of the past 20 years, R & S, Versatile, Planet E and Mo' Wax to name a few, and while Degiorgio's reluctance to adapt to short-lived trends and fashions had him eschew mainstream attention for much of his career, his influence on the development of electronic music cannot be overstated. Much to the delight of his fans Degiorgio has recently relaunched his legendary Applied Rhythmic Technology (ART) label and has also returned to the similarly revived B12 label imprint with new material.

Two years after 'Ripple Effect,' legendary British techno producer Kirk Degiorgio returns to Rush Hour with 'Divine Logic,' an electrifying arpeggiator driven Detroit techno track, timeless in form, that progresses and builds in tension and emotion in classic Motor City style with its spacey, rising string chords.

Kirk Degiorgio's Applied Rhythmic Technology label digitally reissues an outstanding release from 2001, which originally appeared on New Religion. Including a great Carl Craig remix, 'Nairobi' sounds as fresh as ever!

Two veterans of soulful UK techno team up for 'Promenade Eleven', a string-heavy epic of UR-style hi-tech-jazz, which is treated to two more reduced and functional remixes by The Third Man and Kirk Degiorgio himself. Recommended.

London-based techno veteran Kirk Degiorgio continues his long-practiced proficiency for earnest, enduring techno. The three original tracks do this masterfully with the remix by Abstract Souls stepping up industrial intensity and Conforce forming a squashy dub-inflected treat. Quality.
