There's actually only one Person behind Kikumoto Allstars: Melbourne-based DJ and producers Cam Farrar. While the uninitiated might assume him suffering from multiple personality disorder, his pseudonym rather refers to the assorted selection of plastic boxes he uses for producing his music: The legendary Roland series of synths and drum machines, which includes the TB-303 and the TR-808, and which was conceived by Roland's lead designer Tadao Kikumoto. Farrar's music stays true to his programmatic name: Expect classic house and techno in the tradition of the early Chicago pioneers.
