Highly influential in the development of techno's second wave, Kenny Larkin's early releases on Plus 8 and Warp are considered classics of the genre. After serving in the military, his output was for a time prolific, with a number of seminal album releases on the likes of Peacefrog Records and R&S. In recent times his output has slowed as Larkin pursues a second career in stand-up comedy, but every few years a new album surfaces, most recently his brilliant 'Keys, Strings, Tambourines' on Planet E.
