Vincent Belorgey, better known as Kavinsky, is a French electro artist with a soft spot for 80s sounds. His singles for Record Makers like 'Teddy Boy' and '1986' (named after a car accident in a red Ferrari he had that same year) have gained Kavinsky a cult following. His music has been remixed by Mr. Oizo, Arpanet and SebastiAn and he has toured alongside Daft Punk, The Rapture, Justice, and SebastiAn. In addition to his music career he has also appeared in several films including Mr. Oizo's 'Steak'.

'Nightcall' is easily one of the most blogged about releases so far this year, and considering Kavinsky's electro pop star status it is easy to forget this is only his third proper release. 'Nightcall' is well worth the hype however: Perfect Richard-Sanderson-style 80s pop with a great remix by Jackson.
