Performing and recording his self-declared 'minimal skills music' since 2003, Leipzig based Kassem Mosse has been maintaining a low profile for himself, although his genre-defying releases on Workshop, Nonplus and his own Mikrodisko label have been creating quite a buzz in recent months. His recordings and live P.A.s are based on the use of analogue equipment, generating a gritty and honest house music sound.

Picked!
Kassem Mosse's second EP on Instra:mental's Nonplus label: The slow-grinding, 9-minute-long 'Enoha' will be the DJ's favourite of the pack, but we're equally enticed by Drexciyan electro jams 'GSO2' and 'Sleepworking', as well as the brilliantly tumbling rhythms of 'Inswanns'. Kassem Mosse is simply in a class of his own.
