One of the currently hottest DJs and producers in Danish capital Copenhagen, Kasper Bjørke mixes wave and punk influences with a modern disco style, ensuring his productions' simultaneous Nu Rave compatibility and pop-appeal. After nearly a decade in the business, with a Danish Music Award in the bag as Best Producer back in 2001, Bjørke has recently released his debut album 'In Gumbo' on New York's Plant Music label. Collaborations with Dennis Young (of Liquid Liquid), girl-pop duo The Pierces and remixes by The Juan McLean show his close ties to the Big Apple, while remixes by Trentemøller and his collaborations with 'Tomboy' Tomas Barfod (as Filur) involve further big names of the Danish music scene.
