Third Ear are based in London, with tentacles reaching to a massive fan base in Japan, but their hearts are clearly in Detroit. Dealing in brooding sometimes techy often soulful electronic music (lets leave the house and techno tags behind) Third Ear are clearly on a mission to deliver rhythm and soul with a kick. Recent highlights include Brendon Moeller's 'One Man's Junk... EP', but also check out their infamous 'Detroit Beatdown' compilations.
