Throughout his career Jürgen Paape has remained something of an enigma - he has never performed live or DJed, no interviews with the man exist and - until very recently - no photographs. Jürgen Paape has chosen to let his music speak for itself and pull the strings behind the scenes of Cologne's mighty Kompakt imprint, which he runs together with partners Wolfgang Voigt and Michael Mayer. His 2002 hit 'So Weit Wie Noch Nie' was perhaps his biggest hit and highly influential in bringing the worlds of techno and pop closer together.

Excellent retrospective scanning almost 10 years of definitive productions by Kompakt's elusive label co-owner. From the crystalline pop perfection of his unforgettable 'So Weit Wie Noch Nie' to the superior dancefloor precision of 'Nord' and 'We Love' and his recent gem 'So Wird Die Zeit Gemacht'. Timeless.
