Music designer, fashion photographer, multimedia artist - Jimmy Edgar's job descriptions are as manifold as the man's talents. The Detroit based producer has started his musical career with experimental glitch-hop for sadly departed label Merck (as Kristuit Salu), before being signed to Warp in 2004 for several EPs and the glorious album 'Color Strip', which unified Edgar's passions for stone-cold electro funk and cutting edge electronica. Since then Jimmy Edgar has been more than busy as a remixer and recording one-off projects under guises such as Her Bad Habit or X-District.

Flying Lotus, Gonjasufi, Africa Hitech
Twenty years and counting - Warp Records' influence on the era of electronic music has been tremendous, and with recent releases by Flying Lotus, Gonjasufi, Autechre and LoneLady it's heartening to see that the legendary label hasn't lost a bit of its more...
Both a return to Warp's classic electro heritage and a defining album for Jimmy Edgar, his debut full-length for the label masterfully combines lush electro funk and fragile electronica in a way only the Detroit producer poster boy seems to manage. Excellent album from start to finish.
