Since its start in 2004, founded by Gunther Osburg and Maurice Summen of Berlin indie band Die Türen, Staatsakt has developed into one of the most interesting and unpredictable imprints in German underground pop. The label releases music by Mediengruppe Telekommander, Austrian indie shooting stars Ja, Panik or International Pony's Erobique.
