Popular indie-pop band Ja, Panik was founded in Austria's Burgenland province in 2005 and has lately relocated to Berlin by way of Vienna. The group's second album, 'The Taste And The Money', became a favourite with fans of intellectual german pop, such as Germany's influential Spex magazine, which charted it on #3 of their best of 2008 album polls. Its follow-up 'The Angst And The Money' was equally well received and lead to the band's move to Berlin. Early 2011 saw the release of Ja, Panik's fourth album, 'DMD KIU LIDT'.

Ja, Panik from Vienna have managed to take the Spex readership by storm with their first two albums, and 'DMD KIU LIDT' offers an even bolder take on their witty avant-pop. Sung in a mixture of German and (consciously bad) English, and once again recorded with star producer Moses Schneider (Tocotronic).
