Isolée is a minimalist house producer whose music is reminisent of indie electronic pop music of the early eighties and ambient techno from a decade on. Isolée is credited with creating the very first microhouse record to reach the club charts. Müller's first Isolée material appeared on Playhouse in 1997. Isolée full-length album Rest followed in 2000, also on Playhouse. Müller received a large amount of praise, including being listed as the third best reviewed album of the year on Metacritic for his 2005 album We Are Monster.

One of Germany's most acclaimed minimal house producers Isolée returns with his third full-length album since 2005's brilliant 'We Are Monster'. Isolée boldly freestyles, drifts and lovingly detunes, achieving an excellently executed balance between bedroom and dancefloor. Luscious.

Setting the mood for Isolée's full album next week, DJ Koze's Pampa label releases this split single featuring Robag Wruhme. Isolée's 'Taktell' is a quirky, detuned micro-house piece that hits its organ-backed stride at minute three, while Wruhme's 'Thora Vukk' fuses minimal grooves with subtle electronica touches. Excellent.
