Set up by DeepChord's Rod Modell and Stephen Hitchell (a.k.a. Phase90, Intrusion) in early 2007, Echospace releases have achieved tremendous popularity since, with their warm, analogue, and finely layered dub techno aesthetics. Basic Channel obviously serves as a major reference point, and in keeping with the legendary Berlin label's spirit, Echospace output comes from a confusing array of pseudonyms - most of the time designating productions by Modell and Hitchell themselves.

Following on from Echospace's 2007's mighty 'The Coldest Season' album, Stephen Hitchell lets the dub reggae influence seep further through the fine dub techno framework. A devastating combination of the warmest deep bass and echoey ice-scapes, magnified by Tikiman's tender vocals. Amazing!
