Based in Stuttgard and brought into being by Tobi Ettle and Michel Baumann, also known as Soulphiction or Jackmate, Philpot was created to spread their love for deep-house, techno and experimental electronica. Since its existence, Philpot has been home to a manifold of artists, including beat-chameleon DJ Koze or the outstanding Move D.

Atmospheric techno house sounds from IKE on Philpot Records. 'The Mojo' woozies eerie synths and teases out knocking percussion whilst the vocal line hypnotizes, title track 'Supernatural' takes a warmer turn and gets stuck in soulful groove and 'Ribbons' jacks around a funkin' bassline. Delicious.
