Started in January 1993 by Tobias Lampe and Mark Chung, Superstition Records quickly established itself as a one of Germany's leading techno labels with early releases by Jens (Mahlstedt), Mijk van Dijk, Marmion or John Beltran. Even though its catalogue includes a lot of commercial trance, it is well worth digging through for rare appearances by Claude Young, Psychic TV 's Fred Giannelli, Steve Bug or Cari Lekebusch. Hit by the bankruptcy of distributor EFA, Superstition has been dormant since 2004.
