Hugg & Pepp, the dynamic duo consisting of the two Dahlbäck cousins John and Jesper, started out in 2003 and released their first EP together called 'Bastratt'. Since then they have continuously kept releasing high qualitative releases on their own record label, Dahlbäck Records, working out of Jesper's Globe Studios in Stockholm. The name Hugg & Pepp was coined by John and Jesper'ss fathers. The night before John was born his father dreamed that John would be named Hugge, therefore the name Hugg. Jesper's alias Pepp is a short form for Pepponen, which is his nickname given to him by his father.
