Jamal Moss (a.k.a. Hieroglyphic Being or The Sun God) has appeared on the scene in the early 2000s, immediately creating a buzz around his slow and rough, yet soulful, analogue acid house jams. He has since recorded for well respected labels such as International DJ Gigolo, Frantic Flowers, Spectral or Crème Organization, either alone or together with partners Noleian Reusse (as Africans With Mainframes) and techno legend Steve Poindexter (as I.B.M.).

Hieroglyphic Being's 2004 opus on Ghostly International gets a long, long overdue revision from two of the most legendary names in dance music history: Adonis and Steve Poindexter. Ridiculously limited on vinyl, and jaw droppingly wonderful, Steve Poindexter's version of 'The Strenuous Life' especially is already set to be one of the finest pieces of house music released all 2010.
