Jesse Siminski, a.k.a Heartthrob discovered dance music through a musician father and relative who owned a record store. Influenced by early tunes from Prince, Kraftwerk and Laid Back had a major impact on Jesse's musical development and together with his early rave experiences led to his decision to dedicate his life to electronic music. When he moved to New York in 1999 he became friends with Magda and Troy Pierce which should lead to a closer tie to the Minus family and consequently to his first releases on the label.
