2007 has been a busy year for Robi Insinna (a.k.a Headman). With remixes for Chromeo, Punks Jump Up, The Gossip, Zombie Nation, Poney Pomey and Roxy Music, the rise of his own imprint Relish Records and his busy DJing schedule all over the world from London to Sydney whilst recording a new LP called 'Catch Me' for Munich's Gomma imprint. With a career going for more than 7 years he is at the origin of the punk-funk/rave disco movement with his mates of DFA and Playgroup a few years ago when releasing his first album "It Rough" on Gomma Records. After the success of his second album "On" released in 2006, that featured the who's who of music personalities such as Stephen Dewaele (Soulwax), Matt Safer (The Rapture). Since he spent a lot of time in Berlin, Robi knew exactly what he wanted. He recorded and produced his album in his own studio and went to mix some of his tracks at Berlin's legendary Hansa studios. Headman's third album "Catch Me" shows the new developments in the Headman sound. He fused his trademark funky wave punky style with more song structures and loads of analog synths sounds that result in a nice post-punk with heavy electro dance flavour. The album also highlights the voice of Jeremy Kerr of legendary Factory band A Certain Ratio.
