One of the biggest names in the Brazilian electronic music scene is Gui Boratto, Sao Paolo born architect, producer, musician and composer. Having started out in advertising and working for various record companies, Boratto dedicated himself entirely to music from 2004 on, producing mainly for Cologne's Kompakt label family, but also for Audiomatique, defrag or Systematic. His melodic style of minimal techno occasionally incorporates pop and rock influences and has gained him a huge international following over the past years. On recent recordings for Trapez and Noise Music he has also been going by the name of Atto.
