G-Man is the main pseudonym used by Gez Varley, former member of techno-pioneers LFO alongside Mark Bell. After the group disbanded in 1996 after their second album 'Advanced', Varley has continued to innovate the genre with timeless classics like 'Quo Vadis' or 'El Jem', which have recently been reissued by Berlin's exciting new (dub-)techno outfit Styrax Leaves and continue to amaze dancefloors after more than a decade. Varley currently lives in Germany and curates defrag/G - his own sub-label of Roman techno outfit defrag.

The EP Quo Vadis / Sparticus was reviewed:
Eternal techno release by Gez Varley, one half of LFO, under his G-Man guise. Already released in 1996, it has been reissued a couple of times over the years, most recently on the Styrax label. 'Quo Vadis' is one of these tracks which will ignite the dance-floor and never fails to disappoint. Essential!
