Hartchef was founded in 2003 by two house music lovers from Cologne Erk Richter and Holger Schneider, as well as the artist Audio Werner and newcomer Frank West to provide a home for their definition of house music. Many fine releases have seen the light of day since then including records by Jichael Mackson, Ralph Sliwinski and Guillaume & the Coutu Dumonts.
