Not that anyone would have expected less from Fabrice Lig, but one can't help but marvel at the perfection and diversity of 'Genesis Of A Deep Sound', the Belgian producer's first album in six years, delivering drifing electro, great wonky downbeat, and (of course) deep Detroit techno. Excellent!

Fabrice Lig & Titonton Duvante team up for a lovely Detroit-inspired track of melancholy chords and analogue bleeps. The Beanfield remix tunes down the string section by an octave, adding a bit more body to the track. A clear-cut case of Mad Mike disease, highly infectious for all UR fans!
