F stands for Florent Aupetit, but it might as well stand for France, since Aupetit is quickly becoming the country's most prominent artist in the field of dubstep. His releases for 7even Recordings, including his recent debut album 'Energy Distortion', combine the deep chord driven dub aesthetics of Basic Channel with sparse UK-style percussive breaks.
