Eric D. Clark is a Jack of all trades. Together with Hans Nieswandt and
Justus Köhncke he set out from Cologne to bring his philosophy of House music to the world under the name Whirlpool Productions, dropping the international smash hit "From Disco to Disco" rather accidentally in the process. After Whirlpool Productions disbanded after four albums and incessant touring (humorously recounted in Nieswandt's anecdotal book 'plus minus acht') the native American relocated to Berlin, releasing his first solo album "Fur Dancefloor" in 1998 and working on collaborations with artists like
Tiefschwarz and
Martini Brös. In 2007 Eric D. Clark is again on top of things with his acclaimed new album
E=dC2 released on Cologne's
Firm label.
