Elektro Guzzi Elektro Guzzi Elektro Guzzi Music Producer (MP3 Downloads) Artist Macro Recordings
Elektro Guzzi's line-up might resemble that of a traditional rock band, but their music doesn't sound like anything you would expect from a guitar/bass/drums three-piece. Rather than using machines, the three Viennese musicians Bernhard Breuer, Bernhard Hammer, and Jakob Schneidewind become machines themselves, creating precise, pattern-oriented pieces that resembles techno tracks rather than rock songs. Produced by fellow Viennese Patrick Pulsinger, Electro Guzzi have been signed to Stefan Goldmann's Marco label for their acclaimed debut album.

On the concert stage Elektro Guzzi take their unique brand of live-played acoustic techno to a whole new level, and 'Live P.A.' does a great job in capturing this experience. A 45 minute live recording is complemented by four new tracks, making for an excellent demonstration of the Viennese trio's proficiency.

Vienna's Elektro Guzzi trio return with a new EP ahead of their upcoming live album. Over four tracks they develop their unique acoustic techno sound, 'Android' on a kosmische tip, 'Iowa' creeping with industrial textures and 'Vogelgrippe' tingling experimental techno. Next level dance music!

The highly acclaimed debut release of Austrian project Elektro Guzzi, who approach the aesthetics of minimal techno with entirely analogue means: a classic rock band line-up. Not entirely unlike the no-wave sound of Liquid Liquid, Elektro Guzzi's take is fresh and convincing, and we can't wait for the upcoming album!
